Apple just started taking pre-orders for the iPad as of 8:30am this morning.
As was previously announced, you can now head over to the online Apple store and place your order for the Wifi or 3G version of the iPad in the 16, 32, or 64 GB flavors. If the universe aligns in the correct order, your WiFi units should arrive on the 3rd of April, 3G versions a couple weeks later.
There is a limit of two units per custommer, and if Saturday delivery is not available in your area, you’re waiting until Monday the 5th to get your hands on the New Hotness.
Apple won’t charge you until they ship it, just incase you’re stupid enough to pull the trigger withouht having the necessary eggs all in the correct basket.
Personally, I’m not getting one yet. That’s not to say that I WON’T….but not yet.
